Sharna has been involved in the health, fitness, and movement industry for over 20 years—beginning when she was just 17 years old teaching aerobics. She went on to complete her Undergraduate Degree in Human Movement Science and a Postgraduate Degree in Exercise Rehabilitation, specialising in Cardiac Rehab, in 2004.
Sharna gained extensive clinical experience in hospitals, rehabilitation units, musculoskeletal rehab clinics, and weight management departments before starting her business, Calma Health, in 2011. She has guided individuals to become their best selves through movement, nutrition, and lifestyle. Sharna continues to grow professionally as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, and holds certifications in Advanced Nutrition, Pre & Post Natal care, Mat Pilates, and 300hr Yoga Teacher Training.
With a lifelong passion for movement and holistic health, Sharna has a background in jazz and tap dance, long-distance running, international-level bodybuilding and weightlifting—and more recently, handstands. She completed the Movement Mastercourse under Jackson Lennan in 2022 and hasn’t looked back since.
Sharna is passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge across movement, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle.
